Mobile technologies have finally saturated the enterprise, as evidenced by the throngs of corporate CIO’s and other senior executives prowling the exhibit hall and educational sessions at MobileCON 2012 — CTIA’s renamed fall show, held in San Diego September 9-11, 2012. The conference centered on big themes in enterprise mobility, including “bring you own device” (BYOD), machine-to-machine communications (M2M), location-based services (LBS), long-term evolution networks (LTE), automotive applications, mobile payments and more.

The cellular trade show formerly known as “CTIA Enterprise and Applications” — MobileCON 2012 — is coming up October 9-11 in San Diego. Here’s a preview of the show:

Education: October 10 and 11 will bring Keynote sessions plus mobile case study “Bit Talks,” interactive Thought Leadership sessions, Executive Boardroom Sessions and networking receptions continue from prior shows. The exhibit floor is open bothd days.

Pre-show events on October 9 include CTIA’s October 9 “APP-Solutely Enterprise” workshop, four paartner workshops on M2M, BYOD (Bring your own device) and unified enterprise communications, plus don’t-miss the Wireless Hall of Fame Awards banquet.
